In my experience, the votes aren't close and incumbent wins. Doesn't mean the die isn't cast and the predator has begun the stalk. Emotionally I want incumbents chastised.
Financially (rationally ?) I'm not sure what result I prefer.
As for the arrogance of management when I spoke to them. You can eat your words, investors expect too much of the board indeed.
