I phoned Boardroom this morning and on two occasions I was reminded by the 'customer service officer' that I was not required to vote. When I pointed out to her that by not voting I would effectively be voting to accept the offer, she confirmed that to be the case. After I tried to lodge my 'no' vote I then got a 'Failed vote submission' message at which point the conspiracy theories were well and truly alive. The vote against the proposal went through at the following attempt.
