HUM 8.03% 74.0¢ humm group limited

    I will be glad when the vote is over - one way or another this must be a huge distraction to management.

    What would John Wyllie’s motivation be in all this? He has been a big supporter of Humm from when he took up his 5% stake. He has no ulterior motive, except to make money for his fund. He is on the board so is privy to all the analysis of what is happening and where the company is heading - all the information we don’t have. We do know that Humm little things wasn’t really cutting it against the other BNPLs in that space. So if Wyllie is supporting the offer, you have to feel there’s something going for it vs status quo. Not that he is necessarily right - even Buffett has his dogs, but on balance he is able to make a more informed decision than anyone on this forum.
