I just listened to it. I think he is very much in favour of the deal, for all the reasons we have discussed - rerating of the Commercial side, scale for the Consumer finance etc. However he wants to extract more out of Latitude as he doesn’t think they are paying enough. We could easily see a no vote, Latitude increasing their offer and then a yes vote, or Latitude might come to the party prior to the vote, if it looks like going against them.
