How I read it........they have recently been or are in discussions with someone regarding a funding deal when their share price spiked.......who knows whether this was due to a leak associated with the discussion or not.

I believe SBW was probably approached rather than them soliciting it because of their words to the effect of - ‘we’re actually not sure if we want it because we’ll be selling product shortly in volumes that will easily support the business” (great hidden message there I must say)

SBW have panicked a little when they got the price/volume query as they don’t want to get on the wrong side of the ASX and have released this ann which basically says very little other than “we have options we investigate”. Note there is no mention of a CR (that I can see) which to me suggests a commercial agreement with someone willing to throw money at them (a great position to be in)

.....actually it’s quite a good response in my opinion to mitigate any ASX scrutiny and provides some hidden clues as to some very positive business development in the near future.
