I believe what some don't understand, what LKE are looking at, have stated numerous times and what apoears to be the case as viewed from above is that the lake (Kachi) is much larger than it seems as it is partly buried. Doesn't it extend UNDER the higher surounding ground? It looks as though the higher area has deposited over the top of the original lakes visible boundaries (due to erosion over time).
