Interesting, I wasn't aware that only 50% of Select's trees were the nonpariel variety.
That could have implications for the frost issue in the NSW orchards, as most of the other varieties of almond tree tend to be better at coping with frost than the nonpareils. Hopefully they had the foresight to plant large numbers of the most frost resistant varieties in the NSW locations.
