An old work colleague of mine spent a lot of time in the Philippines back in the day.
One of his favourite stories was when he asked two bank guards wielding automatic weapons if he could take a picture with them.
They happily obliged and for an added bonus gave him a gun to pose with!
This was over 15 years ago so hopefully things aren't as lax over there nowadays.
