re: Ann: Siana process plant improvements - u... Doubt if I would call that name plate as they never mentioned grade guessing grade is running around 1.1 gram a ton not the LOM average of around 2.7 gram a ton for the opencast.
Why lower grade ? Well they must still be cutting back in the north face plus escavating down towards the higher grade that all adds to high strip and heavy dilution.
Maybe nameplate on a tonnage basis for one day but even then no mention of plant availability on a weekly basis.
one swallow does not mean its spring.
still I bought a few today - more out of curiosity.
As for cost per oz my guess running around $1000 an oz on CI not $400 like they estimated for LOM with total costs at or slightly into cashburn territory.
Maybe in 4 months they will be around $600 an oz in C1 costs once they are not removing so much country rock
THese guys are not the smartist on the block but they do have ore with a low BMI its of decent grade on a LOM basis the strip should not be too high considering the widths and the labor costs are low but driving skills and maintenance abismall,
All the above just my opinion welcome to be refuted.
