When the price jumps from an undervalued state, the newbies suggest a leaky ship.
When the price is going through a downtrend state, they assume the management is atrocious, bad investor relations & a below par product.
They always have a need to find justification for the re-rate.
Too much speculation can lead to bad decision making for newbie retails and are a easy prey for larger institutions.
