Well what other option have they got ...it won't flow on its own accord due to the res pressure not being sufficient to unload the well
The only course if action is to shut it in..hence the build up test Ann
There is other things to try as mentioned previously
If the res builds up enough pressure you maybe able too unload it,or it's artificial lift, even soap sticks can work.
What to do with the water? Evap Ponds-to cold,truck it out...expensive.. plus treatment
There's alot more we need to know here
