This has certainly ticked off another box in PWNs progression towards widespread industry adoption.
PWN is making steading progress though the list of the Queensland csg industry identified issues that were historically raised to preclude adoption of SSR technology for treatment of Queensland CSG waste brines. (The arguments raised related to the "preferred" technology at the time which was built around a proprietary thermal concentrator and crystalizer flowsheet that pre-dated PWN aMES-iBC platform, upstream package and associated ip.)
PWN appears to have at least in part, remedied the energy & CO2 footprint, chemical, waste, noise and market concerns. Which, I think, leaves the transportation & MHF (mainly liability and indemnity) and monopoly issues - which could be potentially be addressed through contract negotiation and JV management remedies. I think we may be getting there.
