Went to the AGM and they stated that this years objective was to achieve an underlying profit and they were confident they were on course. Contributions into the SMA products had grown by 16% in Australia so far this year.
As a fee based business . . . the earnings are linked to the influx of funds so the continued fund growth should equal better profitability in the future. The line was that the heavy lifting had been done and now it was about spreading the message. Don Strammer was there and asked/discussed the need to spread the message both to new clients and investors.
There seemed to be a few institutional types there . . . not sure as holders or potential investors.
Was a good AGM though.
