Well now that the SPP has closed, it might be a good time to just pause and take stock. It really has been a hectic 48hours for little DXN.
The East Africa involvement has not come out of the blue. DXN has stepped up in Ethiopia to not only supply Edge data centres but also facilitate the landing stations for the subsea cabling, when a previous larger entity didn't wish to continue (DYOR). DXN is known for its expertise in these areas which is spreading quickly across the Pacific and has already been implemented in the Cocos Islands, eastern Indian Ocean. The main cabling from Perth goes into the Middle East and branches to East Africa, which today's announcement highlighted.
East Africa via, Ethiopia, Somalia and Tanzania are the communications gateway to the rest of Africa and Madden was correct with his current internet availability and potential demand throughout Africa. There is nothing of this potential coming east from the US into Africa. The bonus here is the Middle East and it's communications proximity to Europe.
So after taking a breath, what is currently in play.
DXN is strategically well positioned with many successful contracts already, to supply the Pacific and Indian Ocean networks with landing stations.
DXN is technologically well positioned, with proven contracts, to supply secure Edge technology to the Pacific Islands, Pacific Rim nations, Indian Ocean Islands and land bases via East Africa into the African Continent.
People have been asking why would DC Alliance dump money into DXN. Simple. They have Figtree in Perth for the Indian Ocean expansion, they are strategically based in Singapore, one of the World's largest financial hubs but most importantly they knew this was coming.
I know some here would be disappointed if I didn't mention Bevan. With all this communication expansion emanating in ALL directions from Australia and HyperOne planning the largest overhaul of Australia's internal and external telecommunications network, starting with awarding of Tenders for the first 1.5Bn rollout later in October, is anyone game to actually suggest that DXN will not get a slice of the pie.
DXN has already successfully supplied Bevan's companies this past year, in what were effectively trial runs. HyperOne will not only involve DXN directly but also indirectly via other Australian companies sub contracting to DXN. Some might say DXN has to expand its operation so where does it get the cash?
With an enhanced share price and DC Alliance based in an international financial hub, this should be covered.
The next month should answer some questions.
Congratulations to those who got in @ .009.
