May be drilling vertically finds nothing in the barren cover for the first 300 meters where as by drilling the way they have done, the odds of finding something is improved. Then hitting mag target has better chances of finding something.
With due respect to all, I must admit, I am a numbers man and my knowledge of geology is absolutely 0. I am attempting to learn from very knowledgeable posters.
