Lots of work going on at Tarmoola with rehab of old drilling. Hauling the plastic bags and drill waste into the tip at Leonora.
Perhaps Red have said they will only finalise the deal when ASR has done what they are legally obligated to do, i.e. rehab there drilling sites.
Extensions are available but usually the requirement is rehab within 6 months of drilling ending. RED run a tight and efficient ship so they would not have needed the environmental legacy hanging over their heads,
Going by the amount of drilling done, the rehab will take a while so don't expect anything for another couple of months.
