Overall market sentiment is gold negative. Many expect real interest rates to go up and that is bad for gold.
My view is real rates will go up but not by much. The shear size of the global debt ensures for rates to stay down and if the do spike up then massive avalanche of bankruptcies will overwhelm the system – gold to $5k and above.
Just look at our local real estate market – how many can withstand 200 basis points spike? Lol
