We use 1:1 factor of safety in Underground Mining. 750 m of old stopes is not an issue at all. To give a comparison, if the stope is 20m by 20m 5m a stand off distance of 5m pillar is more than sufficient to mine around it or leave it as a pillar and mine back the pillar once the primary stope is backfilled.The engineers and geotech gets paid big bugs to solves issues like this excatly.
