Just consider that you'll need to drive out your trucks, which means a maximum gradient on the ground surface and you'll want at least two tucks wide all around your spiraling road down. Rough maths here so forgive me if I'm miles off (pun intended) but at around 3% slope a 462m deep hole would need 13.86km of road to travel down to it at roughly 20m wide is about 277km2 of space around your actual mine.
So there would be a theoretical limit
