Lets say NWE hits 1.2 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas (1.2 Tcf)
And we go at $4 per gigajoule gas price – And given that every thousand cubic feet of gas equates to just over 1 gigajoule – the 1.2 Tcf resource can be roughly calculated as having an in-ground value of about $5 billion thus making NWE 20% share worth $1 billion in-ground.
NWE current market capitalisation is ~$90m with highly probable take over from major Iron Ore shareholder.
Hmmmm....
Ita close proximity to Dampier Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline that feeds Perth and Gas Hungry Kwinana industrial area...
But hang on MIN has already stated they want to contribute to net zero emissions by using more gas as a dispatchable power source.
