Prospective resources for instance greater than 1tcf doesn't mean it's in the ground it could be denoted as "undiscovered" per the diagram below. Many have drilled and been unsuccessful with wildcat drills which have maybe a 15% success rate not sure?
KKO has it appears 100% success rate across 30 holes so far and maiden reserves pending.
Then South Africa is very keen for gas for its energy needs with recent moves to lessen the reliance on coal with three coal power plants to be converted to gas for instance. Plus other new announcements regarding supply to the power grid in general.

PS I'm not South African but there might be comments from South Africans through the KKO threads I think polyh is South African for instance. Talking to a South African recently they are super keen for power solutions given the history with load shedding "blackouts" in South Africa's power supply
