Yes they are affected by the wet, not as bad as the NT but this time of year access is problematic at best, MOX are unable to get as yet. I am not talking about the cyclone, the wet is the normal northern Australia seasonal drenching. For 4-5 months (November-March) ground access is a major problem, you have to wait for the dry season which usually starts end April early May.
