    Maybe they havent found gold yet in the bedrock but alluvial gold in a shear zone. Gold in the basement maybe sample contamination as samples would be wet.
    Any answers to the difference between hand dug pits hitting bedrock and the 80m deep alluvials. Has to be a shear with deep weathering.
