My geologist has a 40E over the area. Just reported from site the whole area has been push detected - hundreds of detector holes and excavations. No surface gold left -it's been a stampede. That's one aspect.
But right now 6 vehicles and people everywhere digging up the high grade reef in waist deep excavations. That's illegal mining and they can be prosecuted. Totally unacceptable.
We presume Birdsnest and Tin Can will be the same.
I have consistently advocated we implement a low impact mining operation to mine the near surface gold and generate cash flow. Completely ignored. Now every man and his dog is mining our gold in a reef grading kgs/tonne.
