Yeah... its a no for me.
LPI = brine
1. Brines initially can only process into carbonate, and then can further process into hydroxide. However this extra processing comes at an additional cost.
2. Brines can take a whole lot longer to process due to the evaporation required. This basically makes it quite an inconsistent process compared to hard rock.
3. Hard rock like Goulamina typically contains higher lithium content in comparison to most brines.
4. Don't even get me started on costs... hard-rock ops utilize low-cost traditional mining techniques. A hard rock mine can cost half per ton of production as a brine mine does.. eep!
