Visual observation will not tell them grades but will give them an idea if they are inside the good zone.
Whatever they observed from dd008 must have given them enough confidence to go further south and punch dd009. Looking at the depth of dd009 I am guessing dd009 will not be great and hope to be similar to dd006. That would indicate body is deeper and different angle will be required to test further at depth. Another possibility is that dd009 perhaps reached the southern boundary of this deposit.

dd006 is interesting as the way I see it the ore body is there but is buried deeper under ground so I still call it open at strike on the northern side.
