Congratulations on more great drill news today for you guys!

The buying of the farmland surrounding the original strike is a really really good move on many levels. Don't sweat the peanuts you just bought the keys that control the plantation.

Ok the acre rate is higher than normal but you didn't pay Sydney Airport rates (10 times) perhaps double the normal going acre rate but its well worth that to have total control of the land freed from any possible holdups that not owning the land freehold may have brought.

Keep in the back of mind that the arable farmland rate on wheat/barley/oats country in the SW has pretty much doubled in the last couple of years on the back of strong buyer interest driven mostly by decent grain prices and ok yields here in WA in recent times. Mostly, some farms always miss rains and we had the China Barley hiccup like the rest of the country...but the land you bought is good farmland and worth a premium even without the minerals as it is so close to Perth and also quite fertile.

Don't sweat the State Forrest either but be realistic, you are dealing with bureauocrats. If clearance is not giving by a couple in weeks before Xmas it will be sometime early next year. They will take as long as they take (which shouldn't be too much longer) but you have plenty to go on with in the meantime as is obvious by todays announcement.
