OK here is my cynical take on this...
Imagine ... S.B sitting in his large leather office chair, feet up on the desk, a little bored waiting for approvals,playing with his long locks and thinking ??
Um the Mob a becoming restless, I need to make an announcement, anything to calm them down, I came across some historical gold assays the other day, mmm I should make an announcement "we have struck Gold"!! This will calm them down particularly when gold is in favor, throw in 170g/t Au, and the Mob will love it, should keep them happy and off may case, so I can relax, Finniss will be forgotten about for a few months, will appease the mob with another announcement, we are drilling for gold, this will take years, assays will take another year, and so it goes on .
