    A decent announcement i reckon.

    The three most important pieces of investment (not gambling) advice i have ever been given were;

    1) NEVER invest in anything 'exciting', or that you are 'excited' about.
    2) Having invested in a stock, and unless you are at your asset allocation limit, if you are not still motivated to buy more of it you should sell the lot.
    3) If the original reason why you invested in a stock has changed or gone sell.

    Now you can argue these for ever and pull them apart, but i always keep checking myself in on these re AIC. And hence i'm still here.

    Unfortunately the vast majority of 'general' posters on HC have lost money on stocks. The HC end of the market is hardly blue chip or reliable, but we do know this right? So why are we here....i think most are genuinely here for the excitement (see the above), some are for the banter and some for the possible insight they might occasionally find. There are some HC threads that sound like boiler rooms or boys clubs....and the people in them either don't realize or don't care, bit weird and scary. The AIC threads and posters are not immune to all this, but personally i like it how it is. Maybe i shouldn't be?

    So where to for AIC and the SP....

    The AC rhetoric continues to evolve re the new plant size. I'm guessing he's having a pile on of sleepless nights. This is the main game/issue. Ash has eluded to this several times, as have i.

    The issue here is 3 fold;

    1) Confidence / ability to fill the plant up for 10 years at full capacity, 2) cost of it / funding, 3) timing/sequencing.

    All 3 of these are VERY significant in their own right....let alone the simple fact they are all 100% intertwined and connected.

    My understanding is that when AC commits to one of the 3 he is effectively 100% committing to all 3. This i think will happen in May. My take is 1&2 are in the bag....its simply number 3 which is variable still. ie do they go straight to 1.5mtpa plant or sequence it. If they go straight there then AIC will be a 30,000tpa producer in less than 20 months time. The MC would then be quite different i would think, and some people might even get excited!

    As a direct consequence of making a commitment to all 3 in May, and a rising CU price, i would think AIC will become a target for larger, but nor massive, players.
