Yes - Mali, Africa.

Mali which had two military coups in 2020.
Currently ruled by a military junta. Allied to heavily sanctioned Russia.
Currently still in an armed conflict, with Russia and the Wagner mercenary group still active and killing in the country.
The same Mali that has destroyed your friend FFX’s deposit. Pretty sure FFX still hold a significant number of your shares which will be sold sometime this year.
Let’s not even talk about the AVZ fiasco.

But let’s get back to Mali.
Drivable distance to the current coup in Sudan where both sides are killing each other with jet planes.
If you drive in the other direction you get to warlord states where beheadings still occur.

It might be lithium but if you can’t get it out of the ground without losing your life it’s not worth it.
The deposit might as well be on Mars. Tbh I would prefer Afghanistan or Iran at this rate.
