Seeing State Street become a substantial holder was like having a m#th-head move into your house - only he has the keys to your car, the title to your house, and all your logins to your bank accounts.
Horrible company State Street - and their little article about 'Why the temporary ban on short selling is bad' was akin to a Year 9 English assignment. No facts, no details, they just kept referring to 'empirical evidence' in the lack of anything of substance.
They'll short the hell out of it, and expect trash news stories like those released about LKE to hit the press about CXO. This is their tactic, and they're disgusting parasites. Just hold, and ride it out.
Best thing CXO could do (albeit dreamy) is pay get cashflow positive, and pay a dividend. Shorters don't like having to pay dividends to retail investors, and a low price on a divvie producing sock doesn't scare people away (the reverse often happens, because the divvie % increases as the price drops).
Good luck, all. Hope these parasites vanish soon.
