The grade is good and sits beneath an elevated gold level in the aircore drill hole that tagged the intrusion near surface. The implication is connection between the two. CNB have already seen the drill chips from a further 9 RC holes All 9 RC holes which, "intersected wide intervals of
intrusion with variable amounts of alteration and sulphides." We have a good idea that the sulphide content is directly proportional to the gold content based on previous results at Bastion. You don't just commit to a major follow up RC drilling program to drill out the Bastion Intrusion target without some very positive signs in those other 9 RC holes. The implication is connection between the [email protected]/t Au announced today and the 3.2g/t Au announced previously some 1.4km southwest in the same intrusion.

CNB are right to be excited about high grade "Hemi style” gold mineralisation intersected in PLRC0043 and to call it a game changer for the Strelley project. I am so pleased it was 8.55 g/t because this is an economic grade by any measure. It is shallow enough for open pit if there is enough of it, only more drilling will demonstrate this or otherwise.

There is no certainty that Bastion is the best mineralised intrusion in CNB ground, it is just the one they have discovered. Many more drill programmes will be required to know the answer but it is great to be on the path to a significant Hemi style deposit.

This will be a very different looking set of projects and a more highly regarded company in another year. The results will flow at Mt. Isa and the Pilbara and the company fortunes will ultimately align with them.
