I’m understanding.
It has been a very long wait for this. April last year they mentioned they were in advanced stages, and the share price has slowly, slowly eroded since then. Tiny volumes, but a lot of sellers would have been holding for years to make a profit.
Selling the news will always happen, but with 12 million shares traded above 8c that’s now a huge base of support at this level.
I agree that today would have been a day traders dream, but the strength of this announcement will be realised in coming days with people looking at the long term profitability of the resource.
With 70% of production accounted for in off-takes, financing becomes much, much more attainable.
The Chinese Government is projected to spend $5Trillion on 10,000 new infrastructure projects (which might just require some tungsten). That could be a good thing for Tungsten prices and therefor the SP in the years to come.
