You would think that with such positive results they could have held back from announcing today, the worst ASX day for years. Now you might argue that market sensitive material should be announced as soon as known. But given its classified by the company as Market Sensitive then why not have gone into a Trading Halt .... in all likelihood given the severe carnage today on the ASX today and we all knew it was coming given the Dows Friday closing index ( one would assume that NYR management were aware of what happened to US market on Friday) then a TH would have given us a bit of time for markets to stabilize. Then announce the results. Nothing wrong in doing that, it was after all a Market Sensitive announcement so a TH could have been done. So here we are, good news, taken 4 months or so of research at UNSW and Walter Reed, and any positive market price reaction has been lost in the maelstrom of the ASX carnage. F%$# k. My other beef is that the announcement could have been much more informative... we got the bare bones only. In fact, as a layman on medical research, what do the brain slices 1, 2, 3....567 8910 etc mean, are these slices after Day 1, Day, 2, Day 3.. etc after the TBI injury. Positive results yes, but a rubbish announcement in the context of providing detail. I said before, some time back, management need to read what they have written through the prism of a shareholders eyes and what a shareholder is capable of interpreting. A TH would have given ample opportunity for management to provide a more comprehensive announcement ( and very likely escape the market carnage)
