I think I read somewhere that the ASX doesn't allow ''visual estimates'' of lithium mineralisation anymore. Anyways it is something that was done by very early stage junior explorers. IMO explorers that take themselves serious would not provide visual estimated anymore, even if it is allowed.
And portable XRF instruments cannot detect lithium directly, only elements associated with LCT pegmatite mineralisation. So an XRF is absolutely useless to determine grades.
