If you don't need the cash in the next three months who gives a sh*te what the price is now. 3 months ago ALK was sitting around 55c so we are still in profit from the Cap raise. In 6 months time this turmoil will be just a faded bad memory and ALK will be trading much higher and producing more gold and be more advanced in their BODA drilling and be closer if not completed to a de-merger of the rare earths project.
Sure, when you see thousands wiped off your ALK paper value it is depressing, human nature, and if you've got the Gonads to sell now and hope for a lower entry good luck to you - but its a risk. Personally, I've held these for years, it makes up over 50% of my SMSF, but I'm not worried at all apart from the knee jerk dismay when ALK drops 30%+ for no specific company reason at all.
Haven't got any spare cash otherwise I would seriously consider investing more here. Might try and talk my 89 year old mum into buying some
