Hi qube22, I was not replying to your post (I reads like you may have though I was) but in regards to the announcement on the 10th Feb-

Have a read of David Woodall bio - summary posted by TnC2 Post 42835615. The guy comes with expertise and experience. What this potentially says to the market is that they are serious about the demerger. Now if you believe that Dubbo with an NPV of A$1.24B and an IRR of 17.5% at 1 (Mtpa) is currently fully priced into the SP then sure don't buy. What I was implying was that maybe some investors do not believe Dubbo is fully priced in to current SP and that a demerger causing ASM to stand alone will unlock its true hidden value, which would likely be higher than its current value. We wont know til it happens but its a possibility. Forgetting how excited the Company is about its Gold business and its blue sky potential, I believe the market also understands that an independent strategic minerals business is likely to be in a better position to attract Governmnet funding. This will cause speculative buying.

In previous posts I have also mentioned that there seemed to be buying in disguise by sophis investors on Boda who may have known that the results were indeed positive - I am sure there was but we are not in a position to be able to prove that.
