Just FYI It is a clay based REE resource so is not really comparable to Lynas which is hard rock. Clay based REE's though if they can be extracted, although lower grade is a much lower cost than hard rock especially if they are close to the surface, like in this case. There is also the added benefit in this case of potentially extracting Kaolin in the same process.
There is still plenty of work to be done, especially around the separation of REE's from the clay (which has shown some early promise), but certainly is interesting given how widespread the REE's seem to be and the significant area ITM has.
They also have an advanced graphite project, with is a material resource that is compatible with creating spherical graphite for battery anodes. They also have significant tenements to explore for a greater graphite resource, which is just to the north of Renascor, which has the major Siviour prospect.
On top of that it is very well located for mining activities, given a new electricity transmission line between Port Augusta and Port Lincoln is being completed soon, which runs pretty much through the ITM tenements. There is also water close by and ports and the industrial city of Whyalla nearby. Not to mention the sustainable grid of South Australia, with very high renewable penetration already, which should be perfect for the sustainability requirements of battery materials.
Anyway plenty of interest stuff going on that is for sure.
