This is why trenching was done, you cant exactly trench to see control structures if the mineralised system is deep. So, I'm assuming the strip ratios will be relatively cheap if they are trenching. They are obviously inferring this new resource based of the visible Supergene system plus control structures and modelling it at depth within the hypogene zone.
I agree with your sentiment though, we don't know until a feasibility study of some kind is done.
