not wanting to rain on the parade, but there are a few facts that need an explanation.

the first thing i note the reference to magee 2009 and comparison to the roe paleo channel - hardly a comparison, or at least not a favorable one.

the cross-sections tell the story. where the beyondie pc rl ranges from ~560m down to ~490m, the roe ranges between ~400m down to ~270m.

i think i need to read these two documents again and work out what is being said.
