Metallurgy has indeed come very, very far from the days of the "old timers". Not having a go at you personally, but I was in DEG from the very fist day of the big announcement. Even then, on DAY 1, there were naysayers having a go at the metallurgy.
As for Spado, see his LATER tweet above. Dude probably just got sick of the rod he created for his own back. The truth is, now one knows whether he's buying, selling, trading it, or accumulating. Which is as it should be...
