Plan is to actually bring in a DD soon. Hence the placement and SPP. They will keep poking around in the meantime with the scout drill in order to determine where the near-surface mineralisation is. This will also help target a deep-drill.

Remember that it is ore near-surface that helps to reduce strip ratio and improve economics.

I was playing around with economics of open pit and underground operations - just to get a feel for how the numbers work out. Although I need a bigger underground operation for comparison.

Numbers are rough .. but hopefully right ballpark for a comparison.

Intent is to show that large low-grade open-pit operations can be very economic ... but low strip ratio helps to reduce that amount of waste and overburden that needs to be moved.
