Kooka, that's an entirely logical outcome and what one would normally expect to happen. As you say, currently the SP reflects the value of both projects (soon 'companies') and once separated both will find their own level based upon what investors consider is fair value. Having said that, what's going on at present makes any predictions guesswork. There's obviously been a strong punch to the buying over the past week or two and far beyond what I expected at this stage. The buy at 3:37pm of about 350,000 that blew away the wall at 52c and the small sells up to 53.5 sent a very powerful message that this rise isn't being fueled just by smallish retail investors. It reminds me of the action surrounding CXO last Dec/Jan that sent their SP from about 8c to 42c, and as such, who's to say buyers won't push MTC beyond 70c prior to the Record Day? All very exciting for those on board, that's for sure. Bring on tomorrow!
