Hey @whytee, MG did touch on the stats for recommissioning existing nuclear power plants, those under construction and those being planned. (see AGM presentation page titled Nuclear Renaissance and following page on SMR developments) He noted that the Fukashima incident brought the industry to a stop however, now we have certainly caught up and are cruising past where we were then. I was particularly pleased to hear him note the development of next gen SMRs and IMO they will play an important role in regional and remote areas. IMO SMRs are not as 'scary' and 'in your face' as a full size nuclear power plant. And if our Oz governments wake up they should see that instead of closing and demolishing coal fired generators perhaps they should convert them to facilities housing SMRs. .....but hang on. I'm only a ret'd accountant, not a rocket scientist. pip pip
