5 years ago copper was $4.00. 2 years ago copper was $3.00. 1 year ago copper was $2.80. Now copper is $2.10.
The dramatic and long winded decline in the copper price has taken it's toll on the share price. 2 years ago there would have been some hope that copper could have revisited $4.00 again sooner rather than later.
Now, most would be happy to see copper above $2.50.
The hope of a quick turn around in copper's fortunes has faded. Only a handful have a positive outlook.
While the future of AN is assured even with lower profits, the future of PB is undecided while copper prices remain low.
Some may blame poor PR but no amount of PR can hide the current copper price and the less than favourable climate AVB now finds itself in. It might be the lowest point but no one knows for sure yet.
