...or works in combination with Roche...

Exactly right and this has been one of my hobbyhorses forever and a day about monepantel. In this case the two drugs work by completely different mechanisms of action, the Roche drug works directly while monepantel does its iob indirectly through the mTOR signalling pathway system, which has shown great promise as a vector of medical intervention since it was discovered in 1994 for a huge list of conditions but has proved hard to use becuase of adverse effects caused by mTOR inhitors - although there are a number of mTOR inhibitors already in use for a number of purposes, from cancer therapy to suppressing organ transplant rejections. This connects to my other hobbyhorse, that the indirect mechanism of action of monepantel through the vital mTOR system has made it a tough sell to the general public, which has the attention span of a gnat and is accustomed to the metaphor of war - where drugs work directly like "silver bullets", and this goes all the way to the invention of antibiotics. Explaining autophagy and why it's important really is key, and I notice the website has upped its act on this.
