It's unlikely they will be granted a mining license in these areas. Conservation and the Greens will never allow a new mine there unless on flat farm riverbed land etc A comment from the company regarding those issues would be interesting. Plus, the mountains are almost vertical. The river flats are different. There is plenty of gold in this area. However, Labour, Green government is the risk I see.

Worth watching I guess.
