The sexiness in the stock existed before the failed trials. Andrew McLean has now 'cleared the decks' with the one off write off of the clinical and R&D impairment. The restructuring write off also reduces costs YOY into the future. The building blocks for a more solid albeit slightly boring NPAT recovery into the future are in place. The x factor is the opportunity for greater sales penetration offset with the currency risk.
