On a positive note these smartarse shorters who think they know it all, screaming among many things 'oh the African risk, rararra, it's a great short', well these dumbarses forgot to factor in that African risk has now proven to be more of a risk to a 'short' than a 'long', most longs are up multi-bags right now, whilst most shorters suffered pain here over the last year, and now the 'know it all' shorters with 150mill odd shares short are losing money every single day due to the 'African risk' and they can't do a single thing about it, and they have only themselves to blame. That money could of actually been making them big money if short on almost any other stock on any other market. Epic f* up on their behalf, and if we come out with those ducks lined up as it looks like then there will be one helluva short squeeze adding buckets of salt to the shorters huge wounds

depends I guess if they took out a short position around the peak, maybe it wont be so bad, how many shares each trader has, are any covered, etc etc, without seeing their books it would be hard to know how much if any pain any trader is in.
I dont short, but its just part of the wider market fundamentals so no point complaining about it. The shorters take the risk of suspensions/bankruptcies etc, the same as the long position takes the risk of buying at $1.30 and then the company being in suspension for two years at 78c.
