Back in the day when I worked in broking our firm had a desk who we would place our orders through for execution.
When a stock is thinly traded or has risen too much too fast the traders would pull back for a few days to allow sellers to pull and fear the price was retracing.
Then rince repeat.
I expect the buying will return tomorrow or Monday.
